1st few days

Having landed with all our cases intact and getting through customs problem free we now face the task of re-adjusting to life back in Burkina.  The last couple of weeks in the UK some friends let us stay in there beautiful home so that we could move out of our own to get it ready for renting again.  Now the guest house in Ouaga we are staying in isn't unpleasant by any stretch of the imagination, but it is quite a contrast to our friends' home.  Some of you who know us will understand this completely.
Today we trundled along to the Niger Embassy here in Ouaga to apply for our visas for next week.  All went surprisingly smoothly and hopefully we should have our passports back, with visas, by Wednesday and at the weekend we will continue our nomadic journey over to Josh's school.  Yet another epic change for us.

Hi Mark,

Myself and the others members of the bcsa are synchronising our mobiles for the end of the months escapaded. I'm so glad I'm doing it on a vespa and not a lammy.

God bless ya bro

Phil
