Having discovered you have a new neighbour can rouse both positive and negative emotions.  Our new neighbour, however, left us feeling only negative at his presence.  As a number of friends were putting fresh layers of mud on our yard walls an onlooker pointed out that the night before he spotted a black spitting cobra entering a small hole in the wall of our yard which is more than likely his nest.  We don't particularly look forward to the arrival of its babies nor do we desire its company in any way shape or form.  It's a shame that we can no longer get the anti-venom in Burkina… Unless anyone knows anything different that is.
