There is nothing planned for Sunday you know!

I hadn't expected to get back into church life in Djibo straight away, but when I arrived in church the other Sunday and all eyes were on me I thought; "Well I guess these people have certain expectations".  And so with my rather rusty fulfulde I attempted to lead the mornings meeting.  As did happen the following week.  Well, there is no time like the present I suppose.  Fortunately the reading of scripture in the Djibo context is perfectly acceptable as the preaching slot.  So the book of Acts it was.
